I first started SCUBA diving whilst on holiday in Spain in 2001. My passion for the sport continued to grow after emigrating to Australia where I gained my Instructor and speciality qualifications with RAID, SSI, and SDI.
What I love the most about SCUBA diving is the opportunity to observe and experience the wonders of the undersea world. I would describe my style of diving as that of “a relaxed observer”.
As for my most memorable diving experience, it would be difficult to isolate just one. It could be witnessing the graceful feeding dance of the manta rays in Hawaii, the thrill of swimming with a 3.5m tiger shark in Fiji, the awe and excitement of diving historic wrecks such as the S.S. President Coolidge in Vanuatu, the joy and pleasure of diving in the crystal clear waters of the Maldives, the solitude of diving in an inactive volcano in Hawaii, or the fun of diving Australian dive sites such as Fish Rock Cave in South West Rocks, all are my most memorable, each for their own reasons, but all shared with great friends and like minded people with a love for SCUBA diving and the undersea world.
Enabling others to have the opportunity to experience these amazing things after the fun of successfully completing a diving course is why I love teaching SCUBA.
Come join me on a journey to another world.
